There's a lot of PEOPLE JUST LIKE US who are gathering in New York City, right now, for the last 12 days. I wrote them a song for inspiration to keep it up and spread the good word because shit around here needs to change. I haven't been all that political in my life or songwriting but I think I just crossed some kind of bridge and found a message to sing for. I think I may go up there this Sunday, providing they're still doing it. We are the 99 Percent.

For the last 11 days, lots of like minded peaceful people have been making some noise for what is right. Last night I wrote a song for all the people out there in NYC trying to make a difference, and gathered some support at an open mic. I hope that Raleigh and every other city in this potentially great country can get on board with some of these ideas.

Our time is now.
